Grafton Athletic Complex
Phase 1 - The Track - is complete!
HEY SPOILER FANS!
Grafton Public Schools is in the process of updating our facilities, specifically our sports complex that includes an eight-lane track. The track was redone in 2003 and used until 2010 until the cracks and heaving left it unusable for any competition. The football field, lighting and grandstands are also in need of updating. This will include the replacement of LED lighting and the expansion of the press box. Improvements to the baseball field include a dugout renovation and LED lighting. We have also included the surfacing of our parking lot in our renovation plans.
The improvements to our facilities will require an allocated amount of time, effort, and money to complete. Grafton Public Schools is committed to giving every student a meaningful education and part of that education is being involved in extracurricular activities.
The goal is to raise $200,000 by June 30, 2022. The estimated cost to complete the track project is $1,400,000. The additional costs of $200,000 will support the expansion of the press box, electronic timing system and scorers clock, concrete mezzanine and outdoor furniture for booster activities.
